Bought this on a recommendation of a staff member at Equus. My mare likes to tuck her chin and hang. This bit really helped. Make sure you buy the right size though. A friend tried mine on her horse (my mare takes a 5 1/2, her gelding a 5") and it really upset him. She got her own in the right size and he went well in it.
