I purchased this mask at the beginning of the month, and my horse has already trashed it. Ears are torn, and the mesh is wearing away. If your horse is tough on their fly mask, I don't recommend this one.
I bought these for my horses last year and not only are they still in great shape but the horses like them
I've used this fly mask on my mare for years. It is the only one that has stayed soft enough to not rub her sensative nose
This mask is great! I alternate it between a GP horse and a Hunter gelding, who can be harsh in turnout, and it is doing great. Completely protects white noses and discourages flys!
I had a bad time trying to find a fly mask that fit my horse. I tried the Farnam ones and they just didn't work with my mare's big jaw. She's a small horse but big boned. I found the Cashel and it worked great. I originally bought one without ears but my mare's ears started getting tortured by bugs so I quickly bought a Cashel with ears! I couldn't be happier! Her ears cleared wonderfully and the fly mask continued to keep the bugs out!
These last forever. Had the same one for 3 years. I'll be on my forth year this coming summer with NO tares!!
I have used these for several summers now- I can't say that about any other fly mask I have ever tried.
